Give Back 2 God exists to fill an nutritional void in the lives of those most in need of  healthy food in the US and abroad by donating nutrient-rich almonds through a network of qualified 501-c-3 hunger relief organizations. Almonds are one of the worlds healthiest foods and they have major impact on the physical condition of our recipients.

We are inspired by Judeo-Christian values and are dedicated to improving the condition of those among us who are less fortunate. We believe that all of us are God’s children and that those of us who grew up strong should help the weak ones to their feet in an outstretched hand of kindness.

It is our goal to provide a sustainable source of protein, Omega 3’s, and a host of essential vitamins and minerals through the regular gift of almonds into the markets we serve. We hope you’ll join us in our efforts by sharing your time, treasure and talents.

Give Back 2 God made its first donation of 400,000 servings of almonds to the Los Angeles Food Bank in December 2009. That was a huge success for founding board members Mike Kooyman, owner of Madi K’s, and Scott Brooks, head coach of the NBA Washington Wizards, who launched the 501-c-3 nonprofit organization. Brooks and Kooyman grew up together in California’s almond growing region and were inspired by their own personal success to Give Back with the nutritional boost they knew that almonds could bring to the diets of those less fortunate.

Our goal is ambitious; distribute several million servings of almonds every year to food banks and disaster relief organizations around the country, where nutrient-rich almonds can have the greatest impact. The challenges are plenty but the rewards are great. With God’s blessing and the help of our friends, colleagues, supporters and donors like you; feeding several million hungry mouths with healthy, nutritious and delicious almonds each year is a mission we are committed to with God’s help.
